Black Cat Appreciation Day is TODAY, August 17th! Onyx (ID: A334980) is our official spokescat for the day and she is here to share the “Top 5 Reasons to Adopt a Black Cat.” Onyx would be a great choice. Volunteer Claire says, "Onyx is in the cat playroom right now, she is a little shy but very sweet. She has beautiful yellowish-green eyes that goes perfectly with her soft black fur. She doesn’t mind petting and she enjoys a good brush." We also heard that Onyx has got quite the “treat” tooth!
Adoptions are by appointment only as we are still working to maintain social distances. To adopt an animal please make an appointment here.

Thank you for this insightful post about black cats! I love how you highlighted their unique charm and the myths surrounding them—it's so important to challenge those misconceptions. Adopting a black cat truly offers companionship with a sprinkle of mystery, much like the thrill I feel while playing FNAF; both bring joy and unexpected twists. Your article not only educates but also inspires others to see beauty in what’s often overlooked. Keep up the amazing work!
I absolutely loved this post! Black cats have always had a special place in my heart, and it’s so unfair how they’re sometimes overlooked just because of old myths or superstitions. Your reasons to adopt them are spot-on — especially how they have such loving personalities once given a chance. I recently adopted a black cat myself, and she’s turned out to be the most affectionate and loyal little companion. Reading your blog actually reminded me how important it is to look beyond surface impressions — something that applies not just to pets but to people and even professional fields like travel agency law, where details and clear understanding can make all the difference. Thanks for spreading positivity and awareness!…
This was a very enjoyable post. I liked how the author explained ideas in a reflective and engaging manner. It reminded me of the Saunders Research Onion, which provides a structured approach to planning research. Understanding the different layers—from philosophy to data collection—can help students approach assignments more confidently and systematically. Reading posts like this offers both inspiration and practical guidance. It encourages learners to think critically about how they design their research and choose methods, making it easier to achieve meaningful results in both academic and professional projects.
Reading this piece about why black cats deserve more love really resonated with me. Many people still believe outdated myths and end up overlooking these beautiful pets at shelters, yet anyone who has lived with a black cat knows how affectionate, playful, and surprisingly goofy they can be. Articles like this are important because they remind readers that personality matters far more than fur color. I also appreciate blogs that spread awareness while encouraging kindness in everyday choices. As a student who balances studies with volunteering and other responsibilities, I understand how overwhelming life can get—sometimes people even search things like “pay someone to take my online exam” when deadlines pile up. That’s why support platforms such as New Assignment…
