Following intake stats and daily adoption numbers at local animal shelters really puts into perspective how tirelessly rescue teams work to balance incoming strays with successful pet rehoming. Last month, while volunteering to foster a rescued rescue dog and researching nutritious pet food options like luvsome to keep our new furry guest healthy during the transition period, I gained so much respect for community shelters. Managing daily shelter logistics and getting dozens of animals adopted into safe homes every single day is an incredible effort that deserves ongoing community support and awareness.
