***Get your TAN on with our special line of bronze, copper, tan and chocolate shades of dogs! These dogs are looking for fun in the sun with their own loving humans. Dogs in tan, chocolate and every shade of brown in between are $50 for a limited time!*** MCAS is located at 8535 Hwy 242 in Conroe, Texas and is open 6 days a week for adoptions (Tues - Sun. CLOSED MONDAYS.) Dogs and cats can be adopted for $80 while dogs and cats who have been at the shelter over 60 days are available for $25. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, shots and more. DAILY STATS Animal Received 7/20/2015: 4 cats, 19 dogs Animals Adopted, Rescued, Fostered or Returned to Owner 7/20/2015: 12 cats, 5 dogs Cat counts: 364 (285 capacity) Dog counts: 436 (435 capacity) FOSTERS ALWAYS NEEDED! Seeing those shelter stats always warms my heart: 23 pets in and 17 out means so many little lives are getting a chance at comfy homes. I remember when I was looking for a buddy myself, I spent a bunch of time browsing listings on hoobly just to see all the adorable faces and personalities waiting for love. It reminded me that every animal has its own story and needs someone who gets them. When you see pets finding their families, it feels like the whole world gets a bit brighter.
