Clear the Shelters Results!

Official #cleartheshelters results! 174 total adoptions that were able to leave the shelter on Saturday: 125 dogs and 49 cats. We had 26 adopted that had to stay for spay/neuter surgery: 18 cats and 8 dogs.

Grand total was 200 adoptions!

Thank you Montgomery County for the amazing turnout! The staff and volunteers did a wonderful job putting on this event - thank you all! Thank you also to Lone Star Animal Welfare League for their tents, tables, chairs, Kstar Country radio sponsorship and for the free ID tags featured at the event. Big thanks to Misty Mills from Lotus Canine Companions for talking to new adopters about dog training, to Sarah Parsons for face painting and to Sarges Bugers for bringing their food truck.
