For animals needing Rescue or to report a bite case, contact our Animal Investigation Team If you see a pet that is in need of rescue or you have witnessed negligence, cruelty or abandonment, please contact Animal Control at 936-442-7738 ext. 2.
To Relinquish a Pet Before you surrender your pet to MCAS, please read Need Help? Tips for Your Pet.

Please contact our main number at 936-442-7738. Please allow at least 45 minutes for the relinquishment process. We will ask that you complete forms to provide us with history of the animal, including vaccinations, medical and behavioral history.
Have you lost or found an animal? First, take the animal to your local vet to get scanned for a micro-chip. If the animal has no microchip, please post signs in the surrounding area with the animal’s photo. Post the photo and description of the pet on local websites such as http://woodlandsonline.com or http://www.mypetretriever.com.

Your animal must have a current rabies vaccination. We suggest that your animal be current on all shots to reduce the risk of contracting diseases.
